Portrait of Henni and Frank who are the faculty of the NY/NJ Academy of Ceramic Art

About the Faculty

Frank Bosco received his BFA in ceramics from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1978 and went on to earn his masters degree in ceramics from Alfred University, College of Ceramics in 1980. He has been teaching ceramics at universities since 1988. In 1997, he opened the Academy to provide the public with an education that rivals college-level ceramic arts programs. His background, publications/press, and exhibition records can be found here.

Henni Cottle received her BFA in communication design from Parsons School of Design in 2009. After years of working as a designer for startups in the tech industry, she studied under Frank Bosco and founded Heritera, a shop where she sells her sometimes whimsical ceramic wares.
